What ingredients are in Raspberry Butter?

  • Butter: this is the creamy base for the butter, adding richness and indulgence to every bite.
  • Freeze Dried Raspberries: mixes into the butter with vibrant color and a burst of tart sweetness, giving its signature raspberry flavor.
  • Powdered Sugar: Balances the tartness of the raspberries with a hint of sweetness, resulting in a perfect blend of flavors.

Pro Tips:

  • Choose unsalted butter to control the saltiness of the final product. Be sure to add just a pinch of salt at a time until you are happy with the flavors.
  • Make sure the raspberries are completely dry before blending to avoid clumping.

How to Make Raspberry Butter:

  1. Blend freeze-dried raspberries into a smooth powder for concentrated flavor.
  2. Mash room temperature butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Incorporate the raspberry powder into the butter, mixing well to combine.
  4. Add powdered sugar to sweeten the butter and balance the tartness of the raspberries.
  5. Allow the butter to rest for at least an hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Use immediately or chill until needed, allowing the butter to soften at room temperature before serving.

Pro Tips:

  • For a smoother texture, sift the raspberry powder through a fine mesh strainer to remove any seeds.
  • Experiment with different ratios of raspberries and powdered sugar to adjust the sweetness to your liking.
  • Make whipped raspberry butter by using a food processor or stand mixer to whip the butter into a fluffy spread.
