Fruit dip is a creamy, flavorful dip designed to complement the natural flavors of fresh fruits. It enhances the best fruits by giving them a creamy perfect dip.

  • Cream Cheese: Adds richness and a tangy flavor.
  • Marshmallow Creme: marshmallow fluff adds sweetness and light texture.

How to Make Cool Whip Fruit Dip:

  1. Whip cream cheese with a hand mixer in a medium bowl until smooth.

Can You Freeze Cool Whip Fruit Dip?

You can freeze anything, including this dip for fruit. The question is always will it thaw to the same consistency you put it in the freezer?

I have never had enough leftover simple fruit dip to be able to try freezing it. But, knowing the ingredients are all successfully frozen and thawed, and fluffy cream pies and cheesecakes are safely frozen and thawed, I would guess this is a safe dish to freeze and thaw.

If you do freeze Fruit Dip with Cool Whip, pull it out of the freezer and let it thaw in the fridge overnight. It might need a quick stir to fluff it back up, but this should still be a delicious fruit dip after freezing.
